s&w s.s. model 60

Howdy, experts.. I purchased a S & W model 60 snub nose at a pawn shop. I can't locate this exact model anywhere on G.B. The only differance I see is an American flag and the letters U.S.A. on the right side. On crane it 's stamped with 60-3 Also has large s7w factory wood grips. Barrell 1-7/8 inch. serial #47x58 Any help with age and history/value of rev. much appreciated. By the way it cost me $200.00 + tax. Thanks

  I agree with Henry.
  
  As I recall, laser engraved "special editions" became available in the late 1980's if a distributor ordered a sufficient quantity from S&W. This feature is not worth any premium.
