Stevens 311

I recently aquired an old Stevens 311 h series sxs 20ga 3" chamber with a 26" barrel. My question is what chokes are they? I can not find any markings that would indicate. I'm guessing it would be improved/modified with the 26. Any ideas?

  Hello Ratnastychevy,
  Welcome to the forum. I bought a "like-new" 311, .410 about 4 years ago and payed $200.00 for it. At the time, I felt that I was paying top dollar fot it.

  It depends on the vintage. The early ones with hand checkered walnut stocks will bring quite a bit more than the later ones.

  in my area, these fools are paying anywhere from $350 to $600 ? for them! all doubles and semi auto 410's have gone through the roof., redman

  I agree with redman. The .410's will bring a premium over others and as always condition is a major factor. $200-$230 will generally get a 12 ga. or even a 20ga. on the right day. Blue Book says add 30% for .410, but $350 to $400 is pretty common asking (and up).
