spartan gunworks spr310
Thinking of buying a spr 310 and was wondering if anyone has used one yet.

Spartan is actually owned by Remington, but, the guns are the former "Baikal" brand that were imported by EAA. I have the 12 ga. O/U IZH27 and it has been an excellent gun for the money. I bought it about 5 years ago for $239 NIB and was skeptical when I bought it, but I figured I would give it a try at such a low price, I really was not gambling much. This gun shoots excellent. The same gun with the Spartan label is $479 now. Remington saw the quality of these Russian guns and jumped on the opportunity. Its the same deal as Benelli buying Stoeger a few years back. i have a Spartan 310 in 28 guage. I like it alot. It's light, yet seems to be a solid gun. Locks up nice and tight, and points real, at least for me. The gun is a reasonably good looking gun, yet it is kind of plain at the same time. As far as I'm concerned, they're worth what you pay for them, and I'm not sorry I bought mine. 0
