Hopkins and Allen Shotgun

Hello,
I just received a Hopkins and Allen single-barrel, full choked, crack backed shotgun...#c3922. It could be a 20g? Looks like it could be shot right now.?.? I have searched the web and have not been able to find anything about this gun and when it was made. Would you know any specifics regarding the crackback, broken, whatever the correct term is?

  "Crack back" is certainly an interesting term, but more often good advice than a good description. Anyway... A breach loading single.
  
  H&A was the maker of good quality cheap guns. Yours is among those. This type of firearm bears little collector interest and I usually peg value at $35.00. I do this because this is the price where the gun will at least move among dealers on an occasional basis.
  
  Some will tell you that the "value" is at least twice what I've quoted and I wouldn't argue that many are tagged at over $100.00, but they don't sell. There's just a very limited market for these old utility pieces.
