Need approximate values of 2 guns

I have a Browning 30-06 A-bolt S/S Stalker. Gun is in 98% condition. Only about 30-40 rounds have gone through it. Stainless barrel and bolt, with the synthetic stock. Beautiful gun. I also have a Springfield 1911 A-1 G.I. Spec. in stainless with Pachmayr molded grips-only about 75-100 rounds gone through it. This gun in also in 98% condition. I paid $700 for the Browning and $500 for the Springfield. I want to see how much they would be worth to try and sell them for so I can try and get an M-4A3. Or I'd like to try and trade them for the gun but I'd like to know what they are worth to see what to expect. Anyone's help would be surely appreciated. Thanks guys.

    Is there a scope on the A-Bolt?

    This may not be a good comparison,but a couple of years ago,I bought my A-Bolt Composite Stalker(matt black finish on metal)in .270 w/3-9x50 Leupold Vari-X II in 95% condition for $500 at a pawn shop.Maybe I just got lucky?

    If you bought it at a pawn shop ,you paid at least 25% more than you would have at any gun shop, and maybe 50% more than what you could have found it for at a Net type auction. A dealer rule of thumb for buying used guns is never pay more than 50% of current retail price, and then only for popular models and calibers, in excellent or better condition. A dealer buys such a gun, then marks it up to 3/4 of retail, or a bit higher, and waits for a sucker to come along.

    At the time,the gun,scope and Leupold mounts were available at all the ACADEMY stores around here and they have about the best deals around.This set up would cost ya about a grand,before tax.

    There would be a scope on the Browning but there's a little black dot on the left hand side of the scope picture. I purchased both guns brand new from local dealers. I would put them on here but I know nothing about shipping from or to FFL dealers and what not. I bought the Browning about 2 years ago and the Springfield 1911 about 4 months ago. I am also thinking of selling my Winchester 30/30 in about 85-90% condition-1975-1978 or so. Anyone have any ideas on what I should be asking for each gun on here if I decide to sell them. Let me know ASAP.
