Why did they stop making the regular Beretta Onyx?

I was just wondering why they stopped making them i thought it was a great gun for the money, and i really like mine.

I have a number of Beretta O/U model S56E I like twin triggers I think the reason the ONYX did not sell well was it was a plain looking model that had the same action as some of the much higher priced engraved models but price was still higher then other Plain Jane double guns . most people did not want to spend that kind of money on a great quality gun with very little PIZZAS Just my opinion
