I'M LOOKING TO FIND THE YEAR OF MY REMINGTON 870 WINGMASTER #V7132XXV.

  Hello NYGUNS...
  
  Look for a two (or three) character code on the left side of the barrel right in front of the frame. The first letter will be one of the following;
  
  B L A C K P O W D E R X
  
  B = January
  L = February
  A = March
  and so on
  
  The second (and possibly third) letter will be a determine the year of manufacture. Because alphabetic letters are repeated once every 27 years, you will need to know approximately when it was made. For example, if the second letter is a "K", it could either be 1963, or 1990.

  Thanks Bert but I know the barrel is not the original. The receiver looks old most of it is brown. Is there any way to look up the just the receiver?
