bolt for a m44 mosin nagont

i have a m44 that has all matching #'s and i want to put a scope on it so i need to put the turndown bolt handly kit on it... i dont want to cut the one i have so i need to know were i can get a different bolt

  Mosin Nagants are being imported by the container load nowadays. It would almost be cheaper to buy a mismatched beater at a gunshow, then order just a bolt from one of the parts houses. Try Gun Parts Corp, on the net, they usually have lots of parts in stock. After you get the bolt be sure and check firing pin for proper length adjustment. If it's to long, you can puncture a primer.

  There are several companies that sell a bent bolt suitable for the Mosin Nagant. These are sometimes referred to as sniper bolts because they were used on scoped Mosin sniper rifles.
  
  The disadvantage is they can cost almost as much as the Mosin Nagant rifle itself - in the vicinity of $50.00.
