Springfield 22 Single Shot Rifle

For my 13th Birthday I received a 22 single shot rifle from my father. The barrel states the Following: Springfield, J. Stevens Arms Co. Chicopee Falls, Mass. U.S.A, CAL 22 S.L.ORL.R Model 52-A. It also has the number 14 with a circle around it. The gun is in mint condition. Does anybody know what year this gun was made (I believe sometime around 1934) or how much it is worth? Thanks.
