Winter Open Carry?

Do any of you open carry in the winter time? How do you combat the elements and still manage to open carry in the winter?

It's better to have it and not need it, Than to need it and not have it.

  I'm interested in what some of the real experts say about this. I'm just a guest! I thought there were states that allowed open carry but not concealed.

  i use a full flap holster outside my coat or a crossdraw under the outside layer. have used a shoulder rig but find it's harder to access than the crossdraw.
