NRA Recruiters

It is time for me to renew my NRA membership. As I don't agree with a lot of the NRA's activities of late, I am only willing to pay the $25 recruiter rate. At this point I basically consider it to be just another magazine subscription.

Anyway, I'm curious how the recruiter arrangement works. Do the recruiting organizations get a kickback? If so, is there a way to look up what organizations are official NRA recruiters? If I am going to pay the money then I would like to know that at least part of it is going to a worthwhile organization.

    I am registered as a recruiter for the NRA. They offered some sort of commission, which I declined to accept. I don't think that recruiting organizations normally get $10 per member, but that may be the case for special promotions.

    Try going to www.nra.org and see what it costs to renew online.

    Read some of the NRA posts in the general forums, understand you gotta take the good with the bad. I would never let there be a lapse in my membership and I have owned it since the early 80's. Have upgraded it 2 times in the last year.

    Not telling you what to do, but I disagree with my wife on occasion, but she's always more better than worse, so I'll renew with her every chance I get.
