Glenfield Model .60 semi-auto 22
I have Glenfield Model .60 semi-auto 22 that was given to me. Does anyone know anything about it or how old it might be or when they were made?

Usually as common as can be. Many sold at Mart stores.
The Marlin/Glenfield Model 60 and the Ruger 1022 are probably the most common 22 autos. Drop a message through the Marlin web site with the serial number if nobody here comes up with an age.
It won't be worth much money, but if a dependable rifle that shoots cheap ammo is worth something to you...there you have it.
I had one many many years ago that just worked forever.
I traded it away for some odd reason that I don't recall.
Just keep it, or if you don't care for guns, give it to someone who does.0 -
Depending on condition they sale used for 35 to 75 around me. Whats the serial # I'll try and date it for you. 0 -

The fact that they are common, and of modest value does not make them junkers. They can make a fine, fine little squirrel gun. Bought one this year myself.0 -
If Im not mistaken I think the date is the last 2 #'s of the serial #. It may be the first two but I think its the last two. Mine was built in 1971 & it has a 71 in the Serial #.
