Is it possible to remove pump stop thing
Have a pump shotgun was wondering if u can remove the button your press to move the pump arm when its empty. Would you just be able to slide it back and forth at will or would some other change need to be made.

I would highly advise against this, Not only would this make the gun unsafe but could also remove the locking lug on the bolt of the shotgun which when fired could be thrown back and cause serious injury.

Okay was more for my Aunt she has a arm with very little use since a farm accident and asked me the other night and I didnt' know for sure. She wanted to use it again for the upcoming Dove season. 0 -
It's a bolt lock, and it releases automaticly when the hammer is aganst the firing pin. The main use for it (from the operators point of view) is to shuck the shells out during unloading (I always leave the slide/bolt back when I put mine away, and start out by dropping one into the chamber.
Removing it is NOT a good idea.
Some guys like a mag full of lead, I still prefer one round to the head.0 -
It can be done but is not a good idea because the slide will remain free. when you pull the gun up to shoot and the slide moves back just a fraction, it disables the firing pin and wont shoot. get her an automatic shotgun. 0
