Tell me about a HK VP70Z?
I know it's a 1970's double action only, plastic framed 18 rd./ 9mm pistol. I was wondering if it is a very high quality gun and how it shoots, and if it is worth $350 in excellent condition with one mag. It's not too impressive to look at, but I thought it might be a good gun to own if the quality, accuracy, and reliabiliy are there. What has been your experiences with yours?

Grab it quick! Sold the one I had for $450 with one mag, three years ago. Their becomeing quite collectable. Hard to shoot accurately, because of miserable 16lb+ trigger pull. Since they have been out of production for 20 years and were made by H & K, collecters want them. If you get it for $350 and it's factory original, excellent condition, you'll never lose a nickel on it.

Thats an excellent price and you wouldn't have any trouble selling it on Gunbroker for 100$ more then you paid for it.

Thanks for the replies and information. I went to get it this morning but it was gone already. The pawnshop clerk said the owner had come in to make a late payment on his loan, saw it for sale in the case and talked them into extending his loan. If he defaults again, I'll buy it for sure. Should have got it yesterday. There is a lesson here I think. When in doubt, buy it, NOW. It can always be resold later. 0
