Sterling AR-15 Magazine

I have an AR-15 mag marked "STERLING", it is a 40 round mag, but I have never seen another mag marked Sterling. Where are these made and do they have any value?

  They're British made and have a reputation for high quality/reliability. Every one I've seen have cut-outs for the catch on both sides so they can be used in both AR180 and AR15 type rifles. They made these in steel and aluminum alloy. Which is yours?
  
  These used to be scarce and brought a premium, but a bunch have appeared on the US market the past few years.
