German Drilling I.D.

Hi Guys, Looking for any information on what I beleive is a German drilling. Top barrels 16 ga. And the bottom looks to be a 9.3R. Have to chamber cast the piece to get the length. On top of right barrel is V Gustav Meffert. On top of left barrelis Heniriche EEI Suhl. The barrels are solid steel marked Nitro and it is a hammer gun. Can you tell me when and where this gunmaker was located and if he was known to have value. Thanks

  I'm not sure how helpful this will be, but I'll offer a few things. First, it would appear that your drilling was made and/or proofed in Suhl, Germany. There were and still are several firearms firms located there including Krieghoff and Merkel. Unfortunately, I don't have any information on either "Heniriche" or "V Gustav Meffert."
