VALUE OF RIFLE?

was wondering the value of a ruger mkI 270 with a 3x9 redfield scope. the gun was made in the 80's and is in excellent shape. a buddy of mine that lives in pa. wants to sell it but doesnt know a fair price to ask... any help?

  The value of common guns can be found by going to the Gunbroker home page & clicking on the "SmartSearch" link; you can then search on completed auctions.

  I would say in the range of $300-$350 would get you reasonably close. After all, there are a bajillion 270's around, and there was also a millenia rugers made, but they are good rifles though.

  depends on how much your friend wants to sell it. dont pay more than 300 unless you really need it, otherwise you are in it just like everyone else. buy em cheap and youll have no remorse. if you need to pay big make sure you cant live wihtout it!
