1100 Lt.20, Date made?
Can anyone please tell me the approximate date my Remington 1100 Lt. 20 was made? Serial number is N3465xxK. Thanks!

There should be a 2 or 3 letter code on the left side of the barrel, just forward of the receiver. If you give us the code, we could probably give you date of manufacture of barrel, or direct you to a on-line site that has the correct information.

The barrel code appears to be "AA" but that doesn't seem correct to me. The guns action and barrel is marked Lt 20 and takes regular length shells only. There are 3 stars on the vent ribbed barrel and the choke is fixed and modified. 0 -

There's definitely a disconnect somewhere? The date given on the site for "AA" is before the 1100 went into production?0 -
Yes that's what I thought. I used a magnifying glass on the codes but they still look like AA, so probably a bad strike or something. Maybe I'll call Remington tomorrow, possibly they can tell by the serial number. 0
