Husquvarna 7x57 value, date, etc

OK, here we go again. I've got a friend (jeez, do I need more friends who know how to use the Internet) with a Husaquvarna Mauser bolt action in 7x57. It has a Bushnell Triple Tech Scope Chief 4x scope. Scope serial #1047890, rifle serial #202739. There is a king's crown and the word Nitro under it near the action, etched in the barrel. Looks like a sporter or Monte Carlo stock. I'm no expert, but it looks 95% or better to me. I'm looking for a date, value, etc, whatever info you can provide.My friend is selling the rifle and needs to figure out asking price. He bought it years ago adn says it's probably 40 or 50 years old. He even has several boxes of Norma ammo for this gun. Thanks in advance,

    Two things that might help identify the rifle model are: does it have a thumb cut-out, a 1" wide or so notch opposite the ejection port for the opposing thumb to push cartridges down in the magazine. And, what kind of safety does it have on it. Those are just some helpful identifyers in lieu of pictures.

    Pics of the gun are at photos.yahoo.com/redbiker_co. Check the folder called Husqvarna 7x57. It just seemed easier than mailing them out to all interested parties. Just so you know, we are still establishing value and history of the gun. My friend is waiting to find this stuff out before deciding to sell or not. Thanks for writitng.

    I believe it to be a Husqvarna 1640 series action. I read somewhere there were around 150 different varieties of this rifle. Some done for export via Smith and Wesson and Tradewinds. If your floor plate is steel it was made 1953 to 57. If aluminum it was made 1957 or later.
    Value?, don't know. If it is 7x57R rimmed might be harder to sell. If Regular 7x57 mauser maybe easier due to more commercial ammo choices. It has a really attractive stock, show good pictures of the stock detail if you put it on auction and it should do real well.
