need honest answers-Tec 9
I hear alot of conflicting stories on these tecs..like jamming/ammo problems.. i found one for a pretty good deal, but i want to "ask the experts" on advice, please only honest answers..thanks -Warren

Well, yes, they are prone to malfunction. But, the best reason to avoid the Tec-9 is that it is a worthless POS. The trigger pull is terrible, the sights are terrible, accuracy is terrible, & the ergonomics are terrible. It is no good for any conceivable purpose, other than possibly the intimidation factor.
I fired one at a large target at 50', but was unable to get a single aimed shot on the target. There is no good reason to own one.
But, buy what you want. I will defend your right to choose anything you like.

I've had one for about 12 years or so, and not had too many jamming problems. On the other hand, they are really crappy guns, and have no useful purpose, other than they are fun to shoot. The Hell-Fire trigger attachment makes it work in a close to full-auto mode, and makes it a cheap alternative to a "spray and pray" piece. I haven't even fired my Tec-9 since I picked up a Vector Arms Uzi. If cheap fun is your goal, buy it. If your goal is to target shoot, pass on it. 0 -
I've found only one use for these... ice fishing... they are accurate enought to drill the holes (but you have to be careful of your feet). 0 -

NMYERS: Agree whole heartily. Not only a wortheless POS but I dont
even care to be in the vicinity of this type of shooter at a range.

i appreciate the replys...id go with the vector uzi but the barrel length is huge..as far as the tec, i think im going to get it, cant go wrong...perfect condition, with 3 50rrd mags for 120$....i cant pass it up.. 0 -
warrenty: Buy it and have fun. Just remember to make sure the mag is inserted tightly into the gun. Doing that will stop a lot of the misfeeds. Have fun and that's a good price.

Neat fun guns if you can find a magazine that feeds great.
Go to www.gunmanuals.ch/source3/tec9.pdf for the factory manual.
Not saying its a great gun but this gives lots of info.
