Rem. 241- HV Ammo?

Just bought a sweet little 241. It was made in '37, before high velocity ammo. I'm sure its strong enough for HV but will it beat the action up over time?

  It will take anything. Tough little rifle. It's the same design as todays Browning with better worksmenship.
