Mil-Dots are different in Leupold and Nikon?

Hi,

Advice me please about different in Mil-Dot.

I'd like to buy new rifle scope and can't come to a decision.

I began look it in reality and have seen in Moscow that scope

And I was disappointed that I didn't see Dots clearly enough.
Dots are not illuminated.

Who knows are the Dots the same in :

    I'm not sure we understand your question, but Leupold optics are far better than Nikon optics.

    Better? Thats a matter of opinion. I, for one will never own another lepould product as long as I live.
    Gleb the best way to see what they are like is to paw them over. You need to go and see them first had to make sure they are what you want. Then you can order one through the net or however you wish. My best results have been buying from a well known store.

    I for one dont care for the mil-dot
    Look at a fine line scope with 1/8 click adj
    fine tuning 6-20x40 or 50
    just my 2 cents

    If you are asking if the mil-dots have the same subtension at a given distance, you should be about to determine that from the websites of the manufacturers. All should have a place that tells you the subtension.

    The United States has a restriction on shipping Mil-Dots out of country. From what I understand someone interpreted the Mil to mean Military instead of a measurement.

    Most suppliers have a warning on their site:

    Restrictions: We cannot export scopes with mil dot reticles or any
    tactical style scope such as Leupold's CQ/T (Close Quarter Tactical).

    "LIFE IS NOT A JOURNEY TO THE GRAVE WITH THE INTENTION OF ARRIVING SAFELY IN ONE PRETTY AND WELL PRESERVED PIECE, BUT, TO SKID ACROSS THE LINE BROADSIDE, THROUGHLY USED UP, WORN OUT, LEAKING OIL, SHOUTING GERONIMO!!"
