.22 mauser ????????????????

Right side of barrel is marked "Deutfchea Gpostmodell "
left side "kal.22 lang fur bushsen" receiver left side " SIMSONWERRE SUHL" Can anybody tell me anything about this rifle. Its value? Thank you..

Of course I'm out of my mind. It's dark and scary in there.

  Your rifle is known as the ( DSM ), "Deutsches Sportmodell", since it has the Simson name, it was made prior to 1932.
  
  Many different manufacturers in Germany, made similar .22 single shot training rifles such as this, in the years prior to the nazis comeing to power.
  
  It's value would depend on if it's factory original and amount of original finish remaining.
  
  Many of these rifles came back as souvenirs with the G.I.'s after the war. Unfortunately most that I have run across over the years, have been screwed with, i.e. reblued, stocks cut down or altered, drilled for scope or receiver sights etc.

  It is original,not messed with. 80% finish. not drilled and taped .
  Just as my friends Dad sent it home in '46. Excelent bore sharp .
  Shoots on point of aim 100 meters. Thanks for the info. His Dad died 12 years ago, and he just got it from his Mom. Not much story left
  to get from his Dad.
