Tell me about the Argentine FM High Power
I've been looking at an Argentine made FM High Power pistol. It looks pretty good,though not as well finished as a Browning FN.
Those of you who own one or have owned one, please tell me about the quality, price, and how well it shoots. What would be a fair price to pay for a used one in 98% condition without a box? Thanks for any replies.

I owned one of the early imports, ( early 80's ) when they first went on the market in my area. Don't remember what I payed? It functioned OK, as compared to the standard Hi-Power.
The importation dryed up for awhile. Now some CA outfit is selling them in the SN for $300.

I had one, wasn't well finished, but was very accurate and functioned 100%

I've had one for about 10 years and find it to be good and dependable. Mine will accept most aftermarket hipower parts. There was an article in shotgun news a while back that made a favorable report on the current production.
