Value of Polish Mauser.
I just bought a Polish "kbk. WZ 1898 Carbine". at a pawn shop for $100.
I would like to know how much the current value is of it. It is in very good condition all matching numbers. This is what it sayes on the receiver ring.

It's worth about $50. Since I am such a nice guy I will be happy to bail you out of this misfortune for your $100 if you will ship it to me for free. :-)

A minimum of $600 once you've replaced the firing pin, which should present very little trouble to you. THe eagle crested polish mausers are better than the stock market; and if you don't believe me, do a little research. They have produced up to 300 percent profit from what I've seen personally.

It's essentially a knock-off of the German Model 98a/98 AZ that was made and used in great quanties by the Germans during the First World War.
For yours to be worth the big bucks as noted by the previous poster, your carbine should be in arsenal original condition. Compare it to the picture and data given on this site.
