OTHER THAN A 22-250, WHAT DO YOU GUYS SUGGEST FOR COYOTE'S. I AM GOING TO NEBRASKA AND HAVE A CHANCE TO HUNT THEM. I OWN SEVERAL 218B'S AND A 243. EITHER OF THESE OR DO YOU RECOMMEND SOMETHING ELSE. I HAVE A BUNCH OF 225 AMMO BUT NO RIFLE YET. WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THAT CALIBER FOR THEM? NEVER HUNTED COYOTES BEFORE. THANKS

  the 17 remington is one of the best there is. use berger 22 gr bullets. if you want the hides pristine and want the animal dead, this is your round.
  
  I'm not an expert, but i did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

  I would say you're right when the conditions are right. When the wind is blowing good and stiff, and you're taking long shots, I would opt for something a little more wind resistant and a little more buff in the killing dept.
