rem bdl in .22

Did remington make a BDL in .22.

If so are they hard to buy?

  Are you asking if Remington made/makes a BDL in .22 caliber centerfire[?] If so, then the answer is most definitiely yes... several different .22 caliber cartridges were/are offered.

  THE TERM 'BDL' IS REMINGTON SPEAK FOR 'DELUX'. SEVERAL REMINGTON RIFLES HAVE CARRIED THE 'BDL' TERM (700, 572, 742, ECT.)

  I am assuming you are refering to a bolt action gun as the term bdl is usually associated with the 700's...if that is correct, the most recent production would be the 541T. the fancier custom shop model, the 541s (was discontinues about 20 years ago)...in the "adl" the 580, 581 and 582 were the last production bolt actions made and are great quality as well...believe the only bolt now is the new model 504 but dont think it is offered in the BDL style....the custom shop will whip up a nice 540 series of rifle for you, but you would be better off to buy three of the 541's and keep the change !
