Anyone Know About These AK's?

Want an inexpensive AK.

Saw this one but don't know anything about them. This is a new one, asking $350, including shipping, no tax.

AK-WASR
Romanian AK Rifle with Bayonet Lug and Flash Hider. High capacity mags. Includes 2-30rd Steel magazines, and pouch, sling, oil bottle, cleaning tool, and bayonet w/sheath.

Are they decent quality for the money?

Anything undesireable or off the wall about them?

i have one, it's a great beater ak, got mine for $300. i dressed mine up abit. great for spraying lead. ask drobs he is the ak master.

first rule of northern militia is that we don't talk about northern militia.

I also own a Romanian Ak. You can beat them like red headed step children all day and night. Fun gun never had a problem.

I own 3 AK47 i just bought a Romanian about a month ago. It is just as good as my other 2 and if Built the way they are suppose to be built they will go through anything. Like a swiss army watch takes a licking and keeps on ticking. I love my AK47's

The WASR I have looks like a P.O.C., but has never failed to feed or function. It is designated as the 'rapid fire' gun that my nephews have tried to burn out....still kicking.

Some folks prefer the MAK-90 (a-la-Norinco) with a blue finish instead of gobby black paint . They may look a little better, but do not perform any better (for me).

Selling was crazy when the 'ban sundown fever' hit the masses. There are a couple of folks still asking crazy money, but good buys are around.

I would probably buy the chicom if it was within 25 or 30 bucks, but not much more.

The money you are talking is about right.
Either way, you get a simple and reliable weapon that should hit a plate at 50 yards.

mine looked like poo when i first got it,.still kinda poo looking if you look close enough, but i got some new syn. handguards makes it look nice,.

as much as i love this gun i never,....never take cre of it,...i cleaned it once,..or was that the saiga? anyway its a good beater ak. zeroed nice too

does yours come with the folding stock? if you have a solid stock and want to
work something out send me a email

Rub a little oil into the finish on the metal. Makes them look nicer. Or refinish the metal yourself.
