Put on thinking cap. I have 3 questions. ! Who is Imman Meffert? Who is Ehrhardt Lauf? Last but not least Where can one get Information on these people.

  Imman Meffert was a German Sporting firearms manufacturer. They were located in Suhl Germany, and were in business from the 1840's until the 1950's.
  
  The marking Ehrhardt Lauf, I believe? refers to a gun barrel, ( Lauf ) made by Ehrhard.

  Imman Meffert was a master gun maker in germany.He made high quality hunting arms usually embellished with engraving and gold inlays.More info can be had at germanguncollecters.com.
