I see gunsmiths offering to install a Sako extractoron Rem 700's during action/bolt work.
Why is this and what are the benefits

  What is the correct proceedure for removing a long extractor from the small sako bolt? Thanks.

  Got it. Modified a needle nose plyers and lifted the extractor up and pulled it out.
