Erma Em-1 operating slide

Can any help me find an operateing slide for my Erma Em-1 carbine. The chargeing spur has broken off and I would like to either replace or repair the part. Any help would be greatly appricated.

  If the operating slide is made out of steel, and there is enought of the spur left to weld on, a competent gunsmith might be able to weld on a extension. Then form/machine to the proper diamensions. The work might cost more then the rifles worth though.

  I've taken it to a couple of smiths in my area, only one will even try to do the work. And yes it will cost a bit more than the gun is worth. I thought I would try here first to see if I could get connected to a parts dealer before I invest that kind of money in a plinker. Thanks for the advise.
