Help on rifle

I am trying to find the history on my grandfather's shotgun...
It says it's a "ENDEAVOR Royal" # 156989. Does anyone know anything about it like age etc?[?]

    Give us a little more to go on, like is it a sxs double, a single barrel, external hammers, that sort of thing. I will hit the books tonight.

    If the name is actually Enders Royal, it is a Crescent Firearms shotgun. Not safe to shoot, in very high condition $200-$250 as a wall-hanger. If it really is Endeavor, that will take some more work.

    The gun is dbl barrel, I don't believe the hammers are exposed. "Endeavor Royal" is written in Script, visible when the barrel is broken down above the trigger.

    Endeavor Royal appears to be a model name. I can find nothing in my references that will help pinpoint this shotgun. Sorry!
