International purchase???

Hi, im from The Netherlands and would like to buy a rifle in the states. Im a licensed gunowner and already own an AR15 commando and some 9mm pistols. The problem is that most of the rifles sold over here, twice as high in price are as they are in the states. So you all see my problem........ money!!!!! I would like to know if there are any shops that will sell directly to me? I am allowed to import a rifle and it will take me about a week to get an import license, so thats not a problem. But are there any shops that are willing, or able to sell to me???

    Since almost all of us are in the states we generally have little experience with exports. In all likelihood the costs would be such that you would save little or nothing trying to import a single firearm from the US. There may be dealers that will export, and an internet search may be the way to go. Very few importers here deal with single firearm imports and the price is high to do it.

    There is a gentle man in the state of Indiana here in the U.S. who does export to other countries but it takes a long time to get the gun there. He waits till he has a container full before he ships. I do not know hois name but if I remember right, the cost was not as high as i expected, under $100 for a single rifle! Do an internet search for US firearms exporters in Indiana. I got his name and number from a company in Lexington Kentucky called Antique & Modern Firearms. If you are willing to make a call to them I am sure they will give you the name and number of the exportor in Indiana. Here is Antique & Modern Firearms number in Lexington Kentucky:

    Thx Mitchell i'll give it a try. If it saves me a copple of hundred dollars i'll try anything. I'll let you know if i got any luck.
