H&R topper action differance

I have a topper 158 barrel center fire barrel and i need a action
it was off a topper 158 action , the question i need to know is are all the topper actions the same ? or will this barrel mount to any of the topper actions ? I have seen alot of different actions and im wanting to use this barrel its a 22 hornet so it should work with the 20 or 410 shotgun actions

    I may be wrong,but even though your .22 Hornet may "fit" any of the Topper actions,center-fire rifle barrels should only be installed on the SB2 actions.The SB1 action is "shotgun only".Shotgun barrels,however can be fitted to either SB1 or SB2 actions.

    In other words,the SB1 action is not as strong as the SB2.

    Also,only the factory or a qualified gunsmith should do the fitting to make sure to have the correct head space.
