6.8mm Rem. SPC New Military Cal.
Am planning to get T/C (FOX) barrel for my Encore. Anyone have experience shooting this new cal.? Is commercial ammo available?

They had some up at the Gunstop a couple weeks ago when I was there.
I wouldn't say the caliber is awesome by any standards, but rather efficient and effective, pretty good for the military and a round I would consider to be a pretty good match for the T/C. It launches a 115 gr. bullet about 2600 fps out of a 16" barrel. With a 14" you could get 2400 pretty easily.

The ammo is a bit hard to obtain at the moment, but that will change as production ramps up and distribution improves. Allegedly the Spl Ops guys like it quite a bit for bagging sheet heads.
