Old Bushnell scope value?

Here's the details on this old Bushnell scope. I'm guessing mid 50's. Bushnell Triple Tech Scope Chief 4x scope. Scope serial #1047890
Anybody out there care to advise me on this? thanks in advance,

    I would not buy a scope that old because he one's they make today are vastly superior to the one's made 50 years ago. It would be an entirely different matter if you are a collector.

    If you don't get a useful reply by this evening, I will try to take a look at the book and give you some idea. I don't think this one will be a high dollar collectable, but my be worth more than the original purchase price.

    Nothing useful. Here's the reply from Bushnell after I sent them all the info I had, taken directly off the scope...

    Do you have a model number for this scope? Do you know how old it is? Does the scope have a bullet drop compensator on it; or a range finder? The information you provided is not very helpful. If you know the answers to the above questions I will try to find more information.

    I don't believe the old bushnell scopes have much value. It also is probably not original to your Husky rifle as imported. To be honest someone bidding on the rifle would probably not even take the scope into consideration with their bid.

    Assuming everything you know is everything there is to know, the ScopeCheif 4X was made from 1953-1965. FOV is 33.0 feet at 100 yd., Luminosity is 64, evey relief is 3.0-4.5 inches, weight 9 oz. and (drum roll please) value: (with internal adjustments) $55-$90, (with (fixed tube) $45-$80, with the range determined by condition. Likely more than the orginal retail, but I agree with Textrdpost if I were bidding I would bid for the rifle only expecting to replace it. As a collectable I might bid $50. (no insult here, but it would not be a high priority scope for me, so I would look for a bargain)

    Specs and prices from Old Rifle Scopes by Stroeble, 2000, so values might be up $5-$10 today for high condition scopes.
