Ace #1 .22 cal

I just recieved a gun from a friend that didn't want it any more and would like to know a little more about it and what it is worth. All I can find on it is the words ACE 1 .22cal stamped on the top. It is very short,looks like maybe a youth gun or what they called a rabbit gun?? Any help? Thanks

  I take it from your description this is not a colt ACE on a 1911 type frame??? . is it a single shot ? auto? revolver?

  PS, it is a single shot rifle,bolt action,don't know if it shoots shorts or LR? Looks like when you load the shell and lock the bolt down you have to pull the action back in order to cock the gun.I have a digital camera and could post a pic if you want? Thanks
