Savage Accutrigger rifles--model differences?

Whats the big difference in models 10,11,16?
The specs on the Savage site don't tell much on difference. As I read it, the 10 has a lightweight barrel, saving .25 lbs over the others.
The 11 (hunter series) comes in synthetic or wood stock and only blue barrels.
The 16 comes in synthetic stock and stainless steel only.
Are the actions, barrels, stocks basically the same then regarding design and function?
Any help appreciated, I'm leaning towards the model 16fcss in .243Win as my replacement gun.
Also, any great advantage to the muzzle brake model? can the brake be adjusted totally closed, hence back to a "normal" barrel?

    I think you nailed the only differences between those rifles. I'm assuming that the muzzle brake on the rifle is the same that is on the pistols. If that is the case, then you can completely close the brake. The brake works really good on the pistols.

    Some of them have box feed mag. some are removeable clips

    looking at a savage 2005 catalog. yes the muzzle brake can be closed. the fcss has detachable box, the fss has box magazine. it i were you, i would check out the model 14 it only weighs 6 lbs and ranges in caliber to 243-300wsm, also has detachable mag. the 10 fcm is the same gun, except it is synthetic. the barrel on these is 20". the actions are all the same, stocks the same, and barrels all the same.

    I'm not an expert, but i did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.
