Auto Ordnance M1 Carbine Quality?

Could anyone attest to the quality/reliability of the new Auto Ordnance M1 Carbines? I appreciate any input on these as I'm thinking about getting one and have enjoyed the older M1's for years.

  I have heard mixed reviews. I think if I could get one for $400-450, it might be worth taking a chance. Any more, you're better off getting a rebuilt or parts USGI carbine.
