  I'm not sure what "mess around" means, but nothing good came come from loading ammo such as this. While I am sure that you will find a dozen guys who have bought these things & never had any problem, the consequences of legal problems will far outweigh any "fun" that you might have with them.

  I do not know about new york but the seller is in ill, and it is a big no no here, loaded of course

  Andy, I don't have the time to do it, but you can do a search on the laws of any given jurisdiction from any number of starting points, including the ATF site and NYS AG. I know AP ammo is prohibited in many blue sections of Occupied Territory.

  or call the police station and ask, its always safer than getting picked up buy atf for some sting they were doing
