Stainless Rifle...Stainless or Black Scope?

I'm looking for a scope to put on my new stainless Remington VS-SF 22-250, and I'm having trouble deciding whether I want to put a stainless or black scope on it. I was hoping that some of you on here could post or e-mail me some pictures of your rifles to help me decide which I like better.

    With a stainless rifle, I'd go with a stainless scope. A black scope would only work if the rifle had a black synthetic stock. With the latter, either would look OK.

    Yeah...the VS-SF has a black synthetic stock. I'm just hoping to see some pictures of both to help me decide. Thanks.

    I use black scopes on stainless rifles,..that's just me though.

    why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....

    tneff1969 and mateomasfeo...Thank you very much. That was all I was really looking for was a couple of pictures to give me an idea of what a black scope would look like on a stainless gun. I really appreciate your help.

    [:)][:)][:)] FYI thats a Nikon Buckmaster 3-9x40 , been real happy with it on this gun. Slave you the new moderator on this forum ?? , obviously not so chill.

    If you choose black, I think that stainless/synthetic guns look better with a matte black scope, or stainless (not black glossy). One other thing is to not use the wrong colored rings.
    I used to have a VSSF in .220 Swift and I had a long range Leupold scope on it and it looked a nice as it shot!

    Here's a Remington 700 SS DBM in .300 Win mag with a matte black Leupold Vari-X III 4.5x14x50 scope on high Leupold 2 piece bases

    Remington 700MLS (muzzleloader) with a Simmons 2x7x32 black powder scope on Leupold Quick Release scope mounts. I chose this configuration because in Oklahoma (where I live) you can use a scope during muzzleloader season but in Kansas (where I typically, but not always hunt) a scope can't be used during the early muzzleloader season, but can be used during regular rifle season. They hold their original zero pretty well, especially within the muzzleloaders normal ethical shooting distance.

    the problem with stainless is that some of the finishes don't exactly match. my buddy has a model 7 300 SAUM, thumbhole stainless and the leupold scope is noticeably a different color.

    When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.
