I.D. this Mauser.

A friend of mine just recently bought a sporterized large ring mauser from a pawn shop. He wants to know what country it was made in so he can get a military stock for it. I can't get a picture of it but I got
what is written on it. It is 8mm Mauser. This is what is written on the receiver.

FABRICA DE ARMAS
LACORUNA
1945

  Model 1943 Short rifle. Spanish made copy of the M-24 FN.
