Can anyone recommend a 12 ga 3 1/2" semi-automatic

Can anyone recommend a reliable 12 ga 3 1/2" semi-automatic? Any guns that should be avoided? I understand the Mossberg 935 has had some "issues".

    The only one that I can personally recommend is the Benelli Super Black Eagle. I shot one for several years in all kinds of muck and bad weather duck and goose hunting. Clean it after an outing and you're ready for the next time. Just for fun, I used it at a trap shoot to prove how mild it was. Expensive but worth it in my opinion.

    The Rem 1187 super mag is a good 1..cost less then the Super Black Eagle. I use mine for trap,sporting clays,turkey hunting,shoots all loads with no problem from 1oz trap to heavy turkey loads.Even shoots slugs great.

    The Super Black Eagle II is the way to go if you can afford it. I have looked at them, but I can't convince the wife that I need a new $1400 shotgun.

    Super black eagle is top of the line. The inertia system is head and shoulders above any gas gun. When my buddies brownings and 1100,s are jamming and working slugish my benelli is the envy of the duck blind.

    I`ve got the Remington 1187 in 3 1/2 and it will not cycle with Winchester and Federal shells,but works well with Remington.I don`t like that,but can`t afford a Bennelli.

    Try the new CZ 712 mag. I have sold a couple of them, and the buyers have been happy.

    I've had a Remington 1187 for about 4 years now and love it...never one problem with it. I've used it for turkey and deer and also added a slug barrel with scope that works great too.

    I'll go along with Roysha, because I sure do like my Beretta 3.5 Extrema a lot.
    Even a 10yo friend shoots it very well, and he can't hardly hold it up for long, but long enough to bust a clay bird.

    Gun control is hitting what your aiming at.
