  Pro: It'd be excellent for killing yotes at longer distances
  
  cons: Cost of gun, ammo, & OPTICS will be excessive. Furthermore, in order to completly utilize the ammo, it would have to be a heavy/long barrelled version that may make a bolt action seem more practical.

  I have yet to see a box of 204 Ruger amunition anywhere around here.
  I have a feeling that round will be gone in 2 years. I'd give it 5 years before I ever tried it.

  Pros: Flatter, better range, same magazine capacity, less blast and concussion than 22-250.
  Cons: Odd ball, potentially obsolete, expensive brass, loss of flying brass, narrow selection of bullets compared to 22 & 6mm., shorter barrel life at 4kfps+
  Comments: Ammo cost and availability may not matter much if you handload.
  I expect barrel life will be an issue.
