Ruger Mk II Sites

Hello:
I'm looking for a set of sites for my Ruger Mk II. We're speed shooting bowling pins at @ 60', and the stock Ruger sites are not quite the best for site acquisition, and speed shooting. I'm not interested in Tru Glow, or illuminated sites, just something more refined, perhaps a little faster. Any help would be appreciated.

    I use a Tasco PDPII on my MKII, it's fast enough for what you want, adjustable, and weighs almost nothing.
    I have a hard time believing you're knocking the pins off the table at 60 feet with a .22lr, no matter what sights you use.
    Don't you have to stop and reload about halfway through the first pin?

    I believe in the .22cal class all you have to do is knock the pins over

    But do they make aftermarket sites for the ruger? If so, where would one find them?

    Anybody comes through that door, you put two in the chest and one in the head!

    I put on Bomar sights, they are excellent and fast to pickup. What size are the pins? full or tops? Are they on a 4x8 table? Front or back or??? JIm

    Hello: I'll check out the Bomar's. I have an elevation problem with my original Ruger sites. Seems as if the spring that should force the rear site up is not functioning properly. Before I tore it apart I was looking for something a bit more refined. The guys are killing me with their Red Dots, and Pro-Points; but I'd like to work on my open site shooting. Right now we're using a head board off a water bed 6' wide, and 16" deep (works great). The pins are full size; and 60' is as far back as we shoot, and closer of course. I don't know what the skepticism is about knocking pins over at 60' because we're doing it. Stop watch times on 5 pins are under 2.75 seconds by one of our "Ringers" at @45'; but he's using a Red Dot. Thanks for the help (your the first to actually answer my question!).

    I used to shoot pins in the .22 class , used a Ruger mark II 5 1/2" bull barrel , my best time in a match was 2.62 seconds with a totally stock gun , best time in the .22 single action revolver class was 4.08 seconds using a Ruger Single Six ,, sure is fun
