Shot size?

I know what 0, 00, 000, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 7.5, 8, 9, 12 shot sizes mean. But my question is what does B, BB, T, TT, F, FF, FFF, and all those other shot sizes mean. Any help would be apperciated.
