why or who is locking my threads?

Hey, I had another comment or two, but the "topic" was locked. Who did or does that? greg

On the Experts forum, the moderator locks the topic when it reaches (10) replies (or very soon thereafter). He does this because he believes that any reasonable question can be adequately answered within that number of replies (and in at least 95% of the questions, he is correct). If a topic is locked before it has reached (10) replies, then he has deemed that it is an inappropriate question for the Experts forum. In the rare instances where a qusetion is not adequately answered within the (10) reply limit, all that you need to do, is restart the topic with a new post.

Bert, That answers my question. I was thinking it was more in line with saving bandwith or something of that sort.

Same as Bert but with this added, if you want a crapload of answers good and bad just post in the General forums.
