Hello, just acquired a LNIB one of these. Has nice smooth-grips.
Data inside has a date of 1974...is this close?
When was it stopped being made,etc?

Serial# is S-283xx
It's a 4 inch double/single action.

Nice Gun with all papers...tatered box...but original

  The B B notes that Sentinel Mark IV was made between 1974 & 1977.
