Just check out the diff between Speer loading manual #8 and #9. The diff being that in that time frame, Speer started offering loaded ammo, and they were NOT going to print loads that outperformed their commercial ammo. Speer 223 loads are safely under the SAAMI spec of 48,000 CUP, 5.56 Nato is 55,000 CUP. So, just because you are ignorant of what's what when it comes to safe 223 pressures doesn't mean that others don't know what they are doing. It just means that you are ignorant.

    Just to set things sraight: The .223 Reminton and the 5.56x45mm rounds are not identical. There are several minor differences. The 223's max is 50,000 CUP (not 48000) and 5.56 is 60,000 CUP (not 55000). SAAMI has a safety warning not to use 5.56 in a rifle chambered for .223. The 10,000 difference could cause problems. Jim
