stoeger shotguns

hey guys what do you think of the stoeger shotguns? my buddy just recently got one of their coach guns which is great...ive been looking at their over unders and sxs online...does anyone own one or know the quality of them? i cant believe they make over unders for under $400...if anyone has any info it is greatly appreciated...at the current prices i could afford to buy one of every model of stoeger shotguns for the price i would pay for one browning over under

    Are the Stoeger model 2000 shotguns good??? They use the inertia type action like the Benelli, but cost less than half. I know you get what you pay for, but I can't afford the Benelli.

    Harold, If I am not mistaken, a rep from Benelli told me last year that Benelli bought Stoeger. He said they were very impressed by the design of the 2000 and bought it. They may have just bought the patent for the 2000, but I think he said they bought the whole shebang. I liked the 2000 and would probably buy one if I was in the market. I think it was $439 last year. I'm not 100% sure on this one, so you may want to check out the Benelli website. Good luck.
